Salman Khan's first production venture under the banner of Salman Khan Being Human productions, Chillar Party, has created quite a buzz. Marketed as one the most awaited children's films of the year, Salman chose to produce the film for mainly two important reasons. First one being that he thoroughly loved the way it has been shot and secondly he strongly wants to change the way children's films are perceived in India.
In the recent past, children's films have been associated mainly animated and fantasy movies. However, this is for the first time that a film like Chillar Party is made for kids that touches an extremely sensitive subject.
The film is about a gang of nine kids and a dog who fight the big bad world of politics and show that even children can move mountains. Unfortunately, till now no one thought kids of that age would have that kind of sensibility to understand such a sensitive topic and craft it so beautifully.
