Aamir was married to Reena during the filming of Lagaan. Reena, the executive producer of the movie was pretty strict about the team adhering to the schedule and she even got angry at Aamir once when he got late for the shooting. Aamir remembered how dedicated and supportive she was during the making of Lagaan.
Reena was Aamir's childhood sweetheart and both got secretly married even before the release of his debut film 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak'.
Their marriage lasted 15 years, and they have two kids - Junaid and Ira. They cited 'temperamental differences' as the reason for their separation.
amir's second wife Kiran Rao was one of the assistant directors of Lagaan and they hardly knew each other then. 3 years later they got married.
